Our Work Savvy programmes use a blended learning approach which includes face-to-face kickoff and final workshops, online learning modules and interactive fortnightly online workshops.

Workshops alternate each fortnight between an expert guest speaker, and facilitator-guided peer coaching workshops to help participants address their specific challenges.

The programme comes with a printed workbook which participants can use to record their learning, with additional exercises and journalling.

How much time do participants need to spend on it?

Each programme typically lasts four months. The time commitment needed for the programme will range from 30 mins to 90 minutes per week, for just over four months.

We also start and finish with a full-day face-to-face event in Wellington at the beginning and conclusion of each programme. These events are important because they help everyone to build relationships and networks with peers at the start, which makes it easier to connect and share with peer cohorts in online workshops later.

How many people are in each cohort?

We limit our cohorts to a minimum of 12 and a maximum of 18 per cohort. This ensures each participant gets personalised coaching and advice tailored to their situation, and has the opportunity to network with peers during workshops.

A typical programme looks like:
